Societies - Samveg

   Inaugurated in 2006 by the HOD Mr. J.P. Malhotra and various faculty members. Samveg acts as a platform for all mechanical students to show their technical and managerial skills and improve on them. Students are offered opportunities such as quizzing, debating, group discussions, industrial visits, technical drawings, etc.
Samveg has actively participated as a society in various Tech Festivals over the years.

   Starting from 2006 October (Vibrations) Samveg organised the following events:
   1) BEAT THE WEIGHT
   2) JUNKYARD WARS
   3) GEAR TRAINS
   4) AUTOMATION
   5) ROBO RACE

For the session 2006-07 following events were conducted:
1) INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO N.T.P.C. DADRI
2) TECHNICAL DRAWING
3) TECHNICAL QUIZ
4) SEMINAR ON HYDROELECTRICITY
5) ARRANGEMENT OF INDUSTRIAL TRAINING

For inter college Tech fest 2008 (Tech Trishna) following events were conducted:
   1) JUNKYARD
   2) BEAT THE WEIGHT
   3) METAL MILITIA

   All year around, the Samveg society runs a Wall Magazine which is located in the college back block for which articles from all students of the branches are welcomed.
