Centre of Relevance & Excellence on Automation &
Robotics
To strengthen our commitment for improving
quality of education and to keep our students abreast with latest technological
advancements through close interaction with industry, the college is stepping towards
development of Center of Research & Excellent (CORE) in the field of
Automation & Robotics.
The proposed CORE is expected to setup
under the scheme of Mission REACH (Relevance
& Excellence in achieving new heights in educational institutions). A Project
of Technology Information Forecasting & Assessment Council (TIFAC- an autonomous
society of Department of science & Technology)
The main objective of this centre is
to upgrade academic and research infrastructure by equipping the CORE with state-of
–the-art facilities in targeted areas. CORE is expected to produce high quality
manpower in areas of direct and immediate relevance to the industries/user organizations
and take-up industry user organization oriented activities such as sponsered/contract
research and consultancy towards revenue generation.
The centre is expected
to play a important role in skill up gradation of the future engineers of the region
and will help them to be suitably employed.
The following
industries have committed upfront investment of more than Rs. Four Crores to setup
the CORE as technology partner:

National Instrument Systems Ltd, Bangalore.
4)
KUKA Robotics, Gurgaon.
5)
Hyper Altair Ltd.., Bangalore.
6)
SIEMENS PLM Ltd., Gurgaon.
7)
Jacksons Ltd., Noida
