Phoenix


Phoenix , the student society associated with the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, was formed on 20th September, 2005 by a group of six motivated students who belonged to 2006 batch.

The society was formed with an aim to provide a platform to the students on which they could enhance their practical knowledge and gain valuable experience in the industrial arena. The society also aimed at conducting technical seminars by eminent personalities, workshops on various technical developments and organizing various technical events for the students in the college.

The first event that took place was Electronics Quiz. After that the society has conducted various events on regular basis. The society is continuously increasing its work force year by year and the quality event. It has been providing to the students a positive gradient.

In 2006-07, the major hit was the Rover, Radix and the Instant Khichari event in the intra college tech fest "TECH@VIBRATIONS’06" and the society strength increased to 28 co-ordinators and volunteers.

In 2007-08, the major hit was the robotics event "Robonoid" organised by our society in "TECH TRISHNA'08"- the first ever inter college fest, and it was the most popular technical event in the history of our college.

In 2008-09, the major hit was the Choatic Conundrum event organised by our society in "TECH TRISHNA'09"- This event got largest entry of TECH TRISHNA 09. The event like Instant Concoction and Robo-Nemesis(Roborace) was an inter college event for Electro-Mechanical experts.
In 2009-10, The three major events "PeintureEnigme", "Muddle Mystery" and On "Board Quiz" were organized by our society. These three events meant to test IQ of new brains and to enhance technical aptitude also providing knowledge with FUN.

The other event was E-Practicos,a perfect event for the electronics engineers. Apart from the core technical events, the Phoenix Society made a remarkable contribution in providing assistance to students by conducting the aptitude tests, paper presentations, workshops on various topics.
