Experience/Achievements :
Applied science and Humanities department is headed by
Prof P.K. Sharda,Who is B.Tech (EE) from IIT kanpur and M.Tech (Radar and communication) from IIT Delhi.
After graduating from IIT Kanpur, worked as R & D enggineere with Motane manufacturing company and then joined
Indian Air force as technical officer where he worked in various appointments for 24 yrs. In the initial phase he
worked on aircraft system, avionics, and communication systems and then specialize in electronic warfare system and
under-look substantive R & D and efficiency assessment experimental work contributing to development of own capability
in this specialized field. He has been into academics for last seven years and has been HoD electronics and communications
at KIET for over two years. In the college he also been functioning as Dean Student Welfare since 2008.
