AKGEC has consistantly maintained exceptional results not just in terms of pass percentages, class averages and first divisions but also in terms of number of students graduating with honours and merit positions in the University. The college has had the distinction of having maximum numbers of students in the University merit list on a consistent basis. This year again, the college touched new heights and created history by having 13 of its students in the 4 B.Tech groups and MCA merit lists of GBTU.
GBTU Final Year Merit List
Thirteen (13) students of AKGEC are in the final year of B.Tech and MCA merit lists of GBTU. It is noteworthy that four of our students have secured 1st position (Gold Medals) in IT, ME, ECE and EN branches and one student has secured 2nd position (Silver Medal) in ME branch. Also, four out of ten students in the merit list of MCA are from the college. This year we have not only achieved, but exceeded our target of having two students in every merit list of University.
Such superlative overall performance in all courses is unparalleled and no other college has ever had so many students in the University merit list. Infact, as always, we only compete with ourselves and have surpassed our own record of 8 students in the merit list last year.
MTU First Year Merit List
It is a great achievement that 4 students each of AKGEC are in the first year top ten B.Tech and MCA merit lists of MTU. This is the highest number of students in Merit List for any college.
This reaffirms our belief that AKGECians have immense potential and are the best. Now everyone recognizes it and looks at us with envy. AKGEC has always set audacious targets and its faculty, staff and students have invariably risen up to take the challenge and beat the targets.
