      Advances in Information Technology and leaps in VLSI domain have resulted in astounding miniaturization and capability enhancement of devices as well as systems. Considering these developments along with the strides and spread of communication systems, gives an idea of the drivers of the rapid change taking place all around us. These developments have opened 0the doors of immense possibilities. The ideas which only a few years back were only in the realm of science fiction, have now become common reality.

       Understanding the technological advancements and innovative thinking is the key to the futures’ development.
