   AKGEC annually organizes its convocation ceremony to honour the passed out students of the college. The sixth convocation ceremony took place on 23rd Feb, 2008 were chief guest were:
Prof. Prem Vrat, (Vice chancellor of U.P.T.U.)
   Prof. Surendra Prasad (Director, IIT-Delhi)
These were the silent point from the director`s address:
1. During year 2007-08 the annual intake has been increased from 60 to 120 in EN & ME; and 60 to 90 in IT. The sanctioned intake in B.Tech. is now 570 students,18 for M.tech,120 students for MCA
   2. The college has also added modular M.Tech. in EN from this year and 16 faculty are involved in this program.
   3. Results of final year students during year 2006-07 were extremely good. 95% students have passed. Four of our graduating students have secured top rank in university:- ·
   Ms. Swati Jain secured 6th position in CSE ·
   Ms. Parul Upadhyaya secured 6th position in EN ·
Mr. Avnish Mishra secured 5th position in ME. ·
Mr. Narayan hari secured 10th position in ME
4. Our college was ranked 5th among all colleges on basis of combined result of 1st to 4th year.
In recently declared first year results of B.Tech. 1st semester for year 2007-08, our college is NO. 1 among all U.P.T.U. colleges.
