Admission Procedure

B.Tech. and M.C.A. Courses
Admissions to B.Tech. I yr. are made through a Combined State Entrance Exam called SEE-UPTU conducted by the U. P. Technical University, Lucknow. The minimum qualification is intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects-Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science / Biology.

Admissions to M.C.A. I yr. are also made through a Combined State Entrance Exam called SEE-UPTU conducted by the U. P. Technical University, Lucknow. The minimum qualification is graduation (10+2+3) in any discipline from any recognized institution with Mathematics as one subject at Intermediate level or at Bachelor degree level. Admissions to B.Tech. II yr. (lateral entry) are made through a Combined State Entrance Exam called SEE-UPTU conducted by the U. P. Technical University, Lucknow.

The minimum qualification is three-year engineering diploma in any branch of engineering (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture) with minimum 60% marks. Conditions pertaining to reservation, domicile requirements etc. are available in the SEE-UPTU-2009 Information Brochure. Management quota constitutes 15% of the total sanctioned intake. Seats are allotted as per the latest directions of U. P. Govt. and the U. P. University, Lucknow. General guidelines are available in the SEE-UPTU-2010 Information Brochure, which may be, downloaded form the website: http://www.uptu.nic.in/.
Registrations for the Management Quota seats will start one week after declaration of SEE- UPTU-2009 results. A notice to this effect will also be published in leading newspapers. The Registration Forms may be collected in person from the College campus and can also be downloaded form the College website as per the programme stated above.

M. Tech. (Full Time) Automation and Robotics Course
1. Two year full-time interdisciplinary programme approved by A.I.C.T.E., New Delhi and affiliated to the U. P. Technical University, Lucknow.
2. Well-qualified faculty including Professors from IIT Kanpur, Kharagpur and Roorkee.
3. Fellowship/Scholarship/Assistance for deserving candidates.
4. Classes scheduled in the afternoon for convenience of sponsored candidates from academic institutions/industry.
Eligibility:
Admissions are made through the Counseling conducted by the U. P. Technical University, Lucknow and also directly at the College level.

The University issues the notification for counselling in the month of June –July and invites applications from the students having valid GATE score. The University provides the detailed instructions/information through the notification.

The criteria for direct admissions at College level are as follows:
1. B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent with 60% marks.
2. GATE qualified candidates will be preferred and will get the MHRD fellowship.
3. Seats available for sponsored candidates from academic institutions/industry.

M. Tech. (Full Time) Electronics & Communication Engineering Course
1. Two year full-time programme approved by A.I.C.T.E., New Delhi and affiliated to U. P. Technical University, Lucknow.
2. Well-qualified faculty including Professors from IITs.
3. Fellowship/Scholarship/Assistance for deserving candidates.
4. Classes scheduled in the afternoon for convenience of sponsored candidates from academic institutions/industry.

4. Classes scheduled in the afternoon for convenience of sponsored candidates from academic institutions/industry.

Courses will start from the month of April 2010.The last date for submission of duly filled registration forms is August 10, 2010.The Registration Forms may be collected in person form the College campus and can also be downloaded form the College website.
